I’d recommend the program without any doubt. The quality of Instructors and TA is impressive, and the support provided is excellent, they truly want you to succeed.

I wanted to increase my own skills and better understand ux/ui in a collaborative face-to-face experience. This program has helped me to expand my understanding and knowledge of creating learning experiences through best design practices. It has impacted my life by challenging me to be innovative in my work and to value the process of being iterative in my design thinking. I feel more confident and with my web design and creative with my curriculum design as well. I highly recommend this program for any educational professional that desires to make the experience of the user as high quality as the content that is taught to them.

The Coding Bootcamp at UC Irvine was the [best] decision I have ever made. I took my existing skillset and augmented it with the ability to solve complex programming problems which has set me to the level of engineer.

My experience in this program was beyond life changing. I went from not being able to find work in a field that I had 10 years of experience in, to being able to completely shift my career in a new and exciting direction, while still building on my previous work experiences. I’ve always felt a disconnect as a Producer with any of the products we launched because I never *actually* contributed to its existence. Sure, I managed schedules and teams, but there’s something about touching and seeing your work live and knowing that it was you that put it there. THAT is what I’ve always craved and NOW it’s become a reality.

Before this program, I thought it would be impossible to change career paths and learn something completely new and intimidating. Now, I can finally say that I went from being a Producer/Project Manager to a Software Engineer. So, you can say I’m living proof that IT IS possible to change your career paths, It is NEVER too late to go back to school and you can LITERALLY do and be anything you ever wanted to be and more.

Great experience, I have previous coding experience from community college but had to drop out due to work. This allowed me to quickly get into the industry after quitting my old job. It has had a big impact on my life as it helped me get into the career I always hoped for.

Career services really helped me to edit and distribute my professional materials. Without those, I wouldn’t have known where to start. Because of this bootcamp program, I have a career beyond my wildest dreams.

The program gave me the skills and tools I needed to land the job I wanted. The curriculum covered a lot of what was asked for in job listings and the projects completed during the course impressed my potential employers. The career services portion gave me a lot of guidance on how to set up my resume and online profiles which played a huge role in getting me to the interview stage of the hiring processes.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the end result!

I was looking to change my career to one that was a little more in demand, and paid a higher salary. My cousin did the UCI Data Analytics bootcamp and had a really great experience with it, so he convinced me to try it. My experience was better than I ever could have hoped for. My instructors, classmates and TA’s were all incredibly helpful, patient and friendly. Even after the class ended, my career services director Matthew Rodgers was amazing! He encouraged and motivated me every step of the way to finding a great job. Within two months of graduating from the bootcamp, I was able to start working as a software engineer for a great company thanks to Matt’s help and guidance!

I was struggling through interviews, largely because I lacked the technical skills that are in very high demand today. I decided to attend the boot camp because of the education, skills and career support that I would gain. I’m so happy to say that … I loved my time at the boot camp and it has changed my life dramatically. Not only the skills that I learned, but the ability for me to change the way that I learn, think and address the issues I’m faced with everyday both personally and professionally. Thank you!

I learned so much since I was pretty new to the tech world, but now that I am training for a career in the field, so much of what I learned is coming into play. I chose to attend to start the career that I want for the rest of my life and it looks like I am now headed in the right direction. It has had a great impact on my life so far because I left my previous career behind and won’t be looking back.

It was something that I had sought to do for years and finally had the time and finances in place to make it happen. It was a fantastic experience, one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to add to their professional skill set.

There are so many different boot camps out there, but I am so glad that I landed on the [Data Analytics Boot Camp at UCI Continuing Education]!!

The boot camp equipped me with the newest tech skills to enter the data world and provided a variety of resources to better explore student needs, like having a buffet of options to choose from of what we get to keep on our plates.

But the highlight of this entire boot camp experience was actually our instructor and the team that supported him. We had so much to learn in the course, but because we had a great teacher that made everything possible. The instructor was so willing to help students that he consistently hosted review sessions so everyone could have their chance to get more questions answered.

In addition, our TAs were all very passionate about their own work, so they were able to convey that energy to help each student in the class. Lastly, the career services and the Student Success Manager REALLY looked out for each of us and made sure we had all we needed to thrive. It is really hard to find people who actually care and do their best to support you at all levels.

The boot camp was not an easy thing; it does require students to put in a lot of effort and time to be able to really get a grasp of it. With the program setup and the support from career services, I am more than ready to face new challenges after the program ends.

I STRONGLY recommend this data analytics boot camp from UCI for anyone.

I absolutely loved taking this course!  I am looking for a career change and have always been interested in web development, but had no prior experience.

This program is intense and can be frustrating at times, but the instructor, Forrest, and the TA’s gave every student tremendous support and explained the lessons in a way that was easy to understand and retain the information.

I had a blast creating useful applications from scratch and look forward to using these skills in a career environment.

I had some design background, but I wanted to pursue a higher understanding of the research and testing methods of UX design. I looked into a lot of different programs and I felt that the 6-month program at UCI Boot Camp was the most beneficial.

10 weeks is not enough time to digest all the information that you are going to get in a boot camp like this. I also felt that the UCI name attached to this program would be well-received and more respectable (I learned that a lot of other 10-week programs have gotten a negative stigma for how quickly they pump graduates out).

The class went great, there were only about 30 students and everyone was very motivated and excited to learn. The instructor was amazing and had extensive knowledge and tons of real-world experience in the field. We met three days a week and had plenty of time between classes to study materials, complete assignments, and still have a job and a life.

The career services were very helpful and the Career Director that was assigned to me was a great help in preparing for applying and interviewing for new jobs. She was a very valuable resource through my process and was crucial to me getting a position.

I was hired as a UX Designer 4 months after completing the program. 

I decided to attend the program to enhance my web development skills in an effort to help the Marketing Department and the IT Department at Toastmasters International work more collaboratively together as well as to help us use the digital tools available in a more efficient way. With the skills, I learned during my enrollment in The Coding Boot Camp, I feel more confident partnering with the UX Designer to create a Design System for our company that helps ensure brand consistency and adoption from our development team. The UCI Coding Boot Camp made me fall in love with programming and I am now looking forward to working on more web development projects as well as enhancing my knowledge and skill set in web development, to maybe one-day transition to our IT Department. Attending the UCI Coding Boot Camp program was one of the best decisions I’ve made!

I have dabbled in web development for about 20 years, but I never had the confidence to pursue it full-time. The Coding Boot Camp gave me not only the knowledge I needed to fill in the holes in my skill set, but it gave me a big dose of confidence. After the course, I felt sure of myself enough to go out and seek web development for the first time as my primary job.
